Started in Knox City, Texas in November of 2006 from her home, Mrs. Stefany Rowland began what is today Stefany's Country Candles with just a chunk of wax, some fragranced oil and a plastic mold for making her own pillar candles. After being approached by a friend who owned a local business about selling her creations in her store, Stefany began a transformation from her hobby to what quickly became a full time job. With her trademark jar candles with 3 ounce candles in the lid and one of the strongest fragranced candles found anywhere in the U.S. today, Stefany's Country Candles are now available in stores throughout North America and a Website store with sales all over the U.S. and South America. Stefany, originally from Guatemala City, Guatemala moved to the United States with her Mother and Father as Christian Missionaries in October of 1997. After College she moved to Texas where she married her husband Lee Rowland in July of 2006. Soon after, Stefany began looking for something to do from home which eventually led to Stefany's Country Candles. After out growing their home in Knox City they built a small factory next door to their home as there production became larger and larger. In January of 2008 Stefany's Country Candes once again moved into a 14,000+ square foot factory located in downtown Amarillo, Texas. With all credit given to her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, Stefany says she is so excited about their future and God's plans for Stefany's Country Candles.
